We are currently accepting application of artists who want to work in the studio for 3 month time periods. The application is rolling and applications are reviewed monthly. You would need to find your own accommodation, costs for travel, residency fee and materials.

What we provide

• Studio space for oil painting in the heart of neukölln

• Per month 2 x 45 min one on one tutorials with one of our artist tutors

• Guidance in matters of professional practice

• Studio equipment easel, boards and many other pieces of traditional painting equipment including easels, boards, projectors, mallets, glass palettes etc.

what you must provide:

• bio with image of you for our website

• portfolio image of art works 5-10 jpegs

• artists statement of intention for residency period

• Monthly studio fee €300

• artists must pay their travel, accommodation and materials costs. ( we can advise on these)

Winter artist in residence 2023/4

We have choosen four artists for the period Nov 1st through until January 31st 2024. Each artist is unique in their approach to oil painting. To read more please click through to the artists bio in each profile. We will host an exhibition salon in the school studio in January 2024.

We only work with oil painters this is to give painters the chance to work in a city where studio space for oil painting has become hard to find we want to provide an inspiring focused environment for painting.
