Natalia Kuchko

Natalia Kuchko was born in Ukraine.  In 2007 she moved to Madrid to begin studying at the Artium Academy, which was founded by a friend and fellow artist of Joaquin Sorolla. In 2011 Natasha moved to Brussels where she was working with Old Master Techniques, and visiting Amsterdam, Gent and Bruges in search of insights into traditional skills and mediums, learning from the works of Rembrandt, Rogier van der Weyden, Rubens and Jan van Eyck.  In 2013 she moved to Italy, and studied at The Florence Academy of Art, where she pursued a program of classical painting and drawing. She was awarded a two year grant as well best figure painting in 2015.  She was visiting the workshops of Antonio Lopez in Avila and Olula del Rio (Spain). Antonio Lopez is one of the founders of the Magical realism in Spain. Now the artist is based in Berlin, with recent exhibitions in Munich and Berlin. Her works are part of Antonio Coppola Foundation in Italy.
